Fox News host Laura Ingraham has criticized Democrats for using profanity, but insists it’s different when President Donald Trump curses.Ingraham mocked Democrats on The Ingraham Angle Thursday night for “trying to be like Trump” after The New York Times came out with a story about an uptick in members of the party using the F-word on social media. A six-year analysis by the publication found Democratic politicians are more likely than their Republican colleagues to use the F-word in social media posts. Last January, there were 23 instances from 12 Democratic lawmakers where the F-bomb was dropped on X. The worst F-word offender was Senator Ruben Gallego, an Arizona Democrat, who used the F-word 77 times on X in the past six years. Gallego’s spokesman declined to comment, telling The NYT he would “just let his stats and history speak for itself.”Fox News host Laura Ingraham has criticized Democrats for using profanity but insists it’s different when President Donald Trump curses (Fox News)The Independent has reached out to Gallego’s office for comment. One stark example of the Democrats using profanity in public statements was California Governor Gavin Newsom attacking Fox News’ Sean Hannity on X in February. Hannity had claimed Newsom “Thinks a 960 SAT Makes Him 'Like' Black Americans,” in reference to a conversation the governor had with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. Newsom had told the mayor at an event for his book tour, “I’m like you. I’m no better than you. I’m a 960 SAT guy.”“You didn’t give a s*** about the President of the United States of America posting an ape video of President Obama or calling African nations s***holes — but you’re going to call me racist for talking about my lifelong struggle with dyslexia? Spare me your fake f***ing outrage, Sean,” Newsom replied. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F***in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH!” Trump wrote. Simply put, the only way to get the attention of madmen is to sound like a madman.”In another post over the weekend, Trump said “all Hell will reign down” on Iran if they did not open the strait. Just before Trump’s Tuesday deadline was set to expire, he announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran, in which they were expected to open the strait. On Thursday, he criticized Iran’s “very poor job, dishonorable some would say,” of allowing oil through the strait.
