Iran-US war latest: Trump says war is close to over as US claims ‘maritime superiority’ in Middle East

US president Donald Trump has said that the Iran war is “close to over” and claimed Tehran wants to make a deal to end the conflict “very badly”.“If I pulled up stakes right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country”, Trump said of Iran in a pre-taped interview with Fox Business.“And we’re not finished.
